This is perfmon-[and-Archives] in view mode; [Up]

As far as I know, there is no UUCP access as yet, and I don't yet have an email server set up, although that is looming on the horizon. I had hoped to have it up and running by now, but a long term illness slowed me down quite a bit. I hope to have someone start setting up the email server in a couple of weeks, so the target date is now sometime in January (lots of holidays between now and then). There have been several interesting additions to the archive in the past few weeks - you may want to pick up the INDEX file again if you haven't lately. For instance, I just put a really neat performance monitor out there (pub/next/source/Monitor.tar.Z) from Roy Mongiovi which is worth picking up if you really want a perfmon equiv. It's a pretty spiffy toy for evaluating machine activity. As always, keep those submissions pouring in. Early in the year I got about one submission every 2 months (and I had to write 2 of them :-). I'm now up to about one every week or two. One thing I haven't gotten as much of as I expected is good Class implementations. If you've got one, create a spec sheet for it and send it in! It may be getting close to the time to consider a comp.sources.next, although I don't think the volume is quite high enough just yet. Hopefully by early next year we can consider setting one up.
